Participatory interest holders (‘unitholders’) are referred to the previous EasyETFs AMI Big50 Ex-SA ETF final liquidation announcements published in SENS on 5 February
2024, 11 April 2024 and 4 July 2024, respectively.It was previously announced that the final liquidation payment and termination date will be announced on or before 30 September 2024.
Unitholders are hereby informed about the delay in winding-up the AMIB50 ETF due to liquidity constrains related to the unwinding the underlying assets of the portfolio.
The Manager and Trustee of the EasyETFs Scheme (being EasyETFs (RF) Proprietary Limited and FirstRand Bank Limited, acting through Rand Merchant Bank Trustee
Services Division, respectively, will declare another distribution on or before 30 September 2024 and the final termination date is estimated to be by the end of 2024.Further details regarding the reasons for the delays, the valuation of the portfolio and the winding-up of the portfolio is available at https://cloudatlas.easyequities.co.za/amib50
The Manager will continue to act in the best interests of unitholders and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Trading in the AMIB50 ETF remains suspended.
