Khanyisa Cingo-Ngandu CA(SA) is a University of Cape Town Alumni and a qualified chartered accountant. She is the head of Tax Services at SNG Grant Thornton, and a lead partner for the Grant Thornton African Tax Desk. She has led the development of a number of automated solutions to ensure seamless compliance for clients. These include, but are not limited to, an automated risk assessment for employee tax and value-added-tax intended to enable organisations to be aware and monitor their own tax risks, an automated compliance solution that enables clients to track compliance status of various entities and branches remotely without having to contact the tax advisor. She participates in key industry events like the Tax Indaba and Finance Indaba as a presenter or panellist. She contributes annually to the drafting of the South African Tax Legislation by submitting comments to the National Treasury on draft legislation, technical c submissions and other policy submissions.
